Summer Market, Still Hot!

The real estate market has shown no signs of slowing down in the last few months, and it remains in great shape if you're looking to list your home.  It's been a record year of homes being snapped up the minute they come onto the market, and several properties going into over asking and multiple offer bids.

If you are looking to downsize your home and move into a smaller place, this is the time to take advantage and get the most return out of your home.  A lot of times, older homes in established neighbourhoods hold a lot of value for the homeowners, and acting on a hot seller's market like this one is a great opportunity!

Thinking of a move?  Here are some things to consider (and we can help with all of them!)

1. Think finances.  Have your home appraised and consider where you'd like to live after you sell.

2. Check your home for small repairs that can be done to get you top dollar.  Things like a fresh coat of paint or a simple changing of fixtures can go a long way.

3.  Have us come and give you a comprehensive market analysis.  This gives you an idea of a sell price and gives you information on comparables in the area.  We also do a walk through with you to point out areas that might need attention.

4.  Make a wishlist.  Decide what your must haves for your next home will be and your desired area.  The fun part!

Give us a shout if you'd like any further information on the above!  We'd be happy to come and give you a consultation!
